The people at Earthcam.com have good taste

My fish cam has made the list of "25 Most Interesting Webcams of 2006". Maybe they should call it the "25 Most Interesting Webcam that Aren't Offensive" or "The 25 Webcams on the Internet that Actually Work". All kidding aside, I'm glad to get some kind of recognition for putting this interactive system together. I just hope it never gets too popular. I don't have any kind of flood control on it and no single person has exclusive control over the movements (except for me of course).
I might have to get me servos soon. They are starting to wear out from all the action. It's not they are getting loose... they are just starting to make a lot of noise... and it's starting to bug me.
In other news, my crab escaped a few days ago. I walked into the kitchen and there he was peeking outside, through the crack under the kitchen door. He must have had quite an adventure because he was covered in hair and dust-bunnies. I threw him back in the tank and all was well again.

What about putting your hours that the fish cam lights go on and off so we can know when to come to the site and with the best lighting.

LOL about your crab....I used to have fiddler crabs and they would do the same thing, crawl up on the filter and escape. The first time it happened I didn't know they would do that, and I found one walking around my living room covered in dust bunnies and I thought it was a huge spider. I had to chase it down and throw a dishrag over it to catch it, and during that process my neighbor came to the door unbeknownst to me and was watching me move furniture and crawl around on my floor throwing the dishrag. It was a pretty hilarious situation. Anyway, love your site and congratulations on your recognition!

By the way, we had our tank next to a window and the crabs used to sit and look outside and do their little crab tai-chi moves, where they look like they're trying to land planes. Yeah, ok, I'm not crazy. Watch them sometime. :)

Hahahaha, I see from the comments that I'm not the only sicko trying to catch fish in your alligators mouth! Top stuff, you'd get my vote for the most interesting (non-adult) webcam on the whole interwebnet any day.
And mucho kudos for the picodore64, I used to be a c64 enthusiast when i was ickle and still remember coding hang-man for it, and one of those sprite bouncing round the screen things that amuse for about 2 minutes.
Top Stuff!
